Ashtanga Vinyasa Beginners – Monday/Wednesday at 10 am – Teacher: Karolina

Ashtanga yoga for beginners and those with only a little knowledge of Ashtanga.
This class takes us partly through the primary series of ashtanga. It consists of the sun salutation, the standing sequence, balancing poses, sitting poses, shoulder stand and relaxation. The class may vary slightly from time to time. Ashtanga is a very dynamic form of yoga. This class combines movement with breath.

Ashtanga Primary Series Led Class – Friday 10 am – Teacher: Karolina
This class is for yogis with knowledge of the first series in ashtanga. Class is physically challenging and not suitable for beginners.

Restorative Yoga – Tuesday/ Friday at 3 pm – Teacher: Jennie
Would you like to feel more energized? In our modern lifestyle, it’s common to feel lethargic and drained of energy, or completely stressed out - or both at the same time! Finding stillness is hard, but is an important key to staying healthy. In this class you’ll learn how to relax, both your body and mind, cultivating knowledge that is useful even off the mat to help handle stress.

Using bolsters and blankets, we’ll stay in nourishing poses for 5 – 7 minutes, allowing the body to let go of tension, the mind to settle, and boosting your immune system as well.

If your everyday yoga practice is very dynamic, this is an excellent way to balance your body. This can also be your main practice, if you’re feeling fatigue, stressed or if you’re dealing with injuries.

Classes will also include some elements of pranayama (breathing exercises).
